CORE PilatesBoth our Newport and Bristol facilities are fully-equipped Pilates Studios. We have state-of-the-art STOTT Pilates™ equipment which includes Reformers, Rehab Reformers, Cadillac, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel, Arc Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Spine Supporter. Additionally, we have smaller Pilates mat equipment, free weights, balance boards and flexbands.

Pilates Group Classes

CORE Mat Fusion teaches effective ways to enhance tone and strengthen your body and mind. The latest free-weight techniques enhanced with stability ball, mat Pilates exercises and props with yoga alignment increase overall strength, flexibility and performance creating lean, long muscles.

CORE Pilates Body Group Reformer® progresses through the Essential and Intermediate repertoire of STOTT Pilates™ most popular piece of equipment, the Reformer. Pricing for this group class varies from other classes and participation is by permission of the instructor only and requires pre-registration. Mat Pilates teaches the Basic Principles and progresses through the beginner and intermediate repertoire of STOTT Pilates™ Mat work.

What is STOTT Pilates™?

A highly effective way to shape up, slim down and feel great. It is the contemporary approach to the mind-body exercise athlete Joseph Pilates developed in the 1920s. An emphasis on movement quality, posture, and breathing makes STOTT Pilates™ a safe, challenging, revitalizing workout. It is the perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, athletic training or rehabilitation. The exercises are performed on machines and on the floor known as matwork. All the exercises are based on strengthening the core torso muscles as well as helping to restore the natural curves of the spine.
